Our caring and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and cousin, Martin Wayne Goff “Squirt”, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his home. He was taken from us too soon at the age of 44.

Marty was born September 1, 1975 in Salt Lake City to Wayne Goff and Charlene M. Mitchell. He graduated from Olympus High School and attended college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he studied marine biology. Married and divorced Kim Rhodes. Marty had a big impact on everyone who came across his path. From his smile and willingness to help anyone in need. Marty could make you laugh so hard it would put you in tears, with his beautiful and unique side smile that fit his personality to complete him. He would light up any room he was in. He had the biggest heart and soul for his family and friends. He married his true love, Beaudra, as they were soulmates. He adored his daughter, Tristyn, as she would light up his heart. He loved his son, Jr., more than ever imagined as he was so proud of his kids. He loved watching them grow and most of all laughing in life. Marty was the most caring brother ever possible to his only sister and best friend, Jennifer Goff. He enjoyed spending weekends playing catch with his nephew, Ethan.

He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and the best son. Marty was very close to his mother. They have a special bond that you can only dream of, especially their love of Star Wars and reading books.

He is survived by his mother, Charlene M. (Bruce) Mitchell, father, Wayne C. (Jody) Goff, wife, Beaudra Goff, daughter, Tristyn Goff, son, Martin Goff, Jr., sister, Jennifer M. Goff (Randy Redden), nephew, Ethan J. Goff, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lorilla Miller and Wayne and Effie Goff; uncle, Martin Goff and Larry Miller, and Aunt Trudy Goff, cousins, Tess Miller, Dalton Goff, and Roger Miller, and several other relatives.

A celebration of Marty’s life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil O’Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends and family may gather one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children Hospital, 1275 East Fairfax Road, SLC, UT 84103 in Marty’s memory.
