‘Papa Ley’

Our Loving Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away March 15th, 2019 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by loved ones.  We can find comfort in knowing he has reunited with his late wife, (Maria-Elena) of 54 years. He was born in Durango, Mexico on Sept. 29, 1932. He was very loved and respected by all who knew him.  He enjoyed spending time with family, going fishing and playing Dominos.  Our Grandpa had a lot of Pride, Very Old Fashioned and although he was a Stubborn Old Man, He had a lot of love in his heart. We are all very Grateful to have been able to spend  the time we did with him. Like Branches on a tree, we all grew in different directions, yet our roots remain the same. He was, and will always be the root of our family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria-Elena and son Gilberto He is survived by his 7 children Javier, Miguel, Elizabeth(Rafael), Elfida(Noe), Sandra(Jesus), Minerva and Carlos, 30 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. He was a Great man all around he will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Te Queremos Mucho Papa Ley, Hasta que nos veamos de nuevo.
